• Compass is a personal development company committed to improving the lives of women.  I have come to realize that ALL women need and should have access to coaching, and that’s why I decided to partner with Compass.

• I consistently receive requests to mentor and train women, but my schedule and life doesn’t afford me to be able to accommodate all the requests.  So when this opportunity was presented to me, I prayed and believe that this is an avenue that will allow me to leverage my time and help as many women as I can.

• Compass helps improve women’s’ lives through powerful coaching programs and services that inspire, empower, and connect women with themselves and each other so they can have the life they want.

• The life coaching experience focuses on 5 primary life areas –

• Self & Life Balance; Health & Wellness; Money & Career; Relationships and just added in June – The Spirit Track

• I will be one of the Spirit coaches.  The clients who join will work through a MAP (Monthly Action Plan).  The MAP is a series of brief daily audios (less than 5 minutes, 5 days a week) combined with a workbook so you can track your progress.  With the MAP, you can make real improvements in your life just by committing a few minutes a day to yourself.

• The clients will then participate with their coach for a Group Coaching session via telephone twice or three times a month.  The coach will use thought provoking questions and exercises to help you get to the heart of the matter and uncover what might be holding you back. Your group is a safe supportive environment for tackling challenges and will give you new perspectives, ideas, and courage to identify and find your own solutions.

• We offer quality coaching that ANYONE can afford.  Did you know that professional coaches charge anywhere from $300-$500 EACH MONTH, and Executive Coaches charge $1000 or MORE each month.

Even if I take a wrong turn, I can find another route to success.

If I steer my vessel in the wrong direction, I can find a map and chart out a new course.  Stopping is not an option. I will find my way as long as I keep my eyes on the prize.

Success is a journey, not a destination. That is why I strive to make each step count. A positive attitude helps me move forward and, even when I am unsure of where I am, I am not lost. Instead, I choose to become a trailblazer. The generation coming behind me will have access to another route thanks to my resolve to stay the course and forge a new path.

When I come to a fork in the road I trust God will lead me in the right direction.

Missing a turn causes me no panic because I know that I have countless options; I am not limited to only one way. A wrong turn may lead me to find a new way. The opportunity to explore the unknown excites me.

Although it feels daring to get off the fast-paced highway of life and take the scenic route, detours can be worthwhile because they lead me to discover the beautiful things in life that I otherwise may have missed. The road less traveled is filled with the most stunning sights.

Flexibility allows me to prosper despite failure. Being flexible gives me the strength to keep going when I would rather stop.

Life is full of uncertainty. We try to put things in place, have some control and put trust in others to be there through the good and bad times. We want security and stability. We follow the rules and guidelines to have more certainty. Professionally we go through the protocol of getting an education aimed at getting a career that we enjoy with an income to take care of our expenses and build security. Along the way stuff happens. Maybe higher educational goals were interrupted due to circumstances beyond your control, or the job you had your heart set on didn’t pan out. Or perhaps you got to the top of the corporate ladder only to be downsized, or an illness stopped you in your career track.

Today, change is showing up globally; it’s as if it was a volcano that for a while was merely spewing smoke but has now erupted. The signs were there. The “too good to be true” mortgages with little or no down payment; credit card debt mounting to outlandish proportions; trying to have it all by working harder and longer with little time left over to develop relationships and self-care. With all the stress internally and externally, it was inevitable for the bubble to burst.

Whether your bubble has burst or not, we are all affected by the global negativity. We look toward leaders to solve the multitude of crises going on locally and worldwide. That solution is only part of what’s necessary to turn chaos around. Servant leaders need leadership from followers. You are a leader and part of the synergistic result to a better way. Within every crisis are opportunities to build new leadership strategies for the good of your immediate community and to make a difference in the world. Believe me, the Universe knows how to get your attention, to wake you up to the self-awareness of your brilliance.

This is your time to shine brighter and create the world you want. It begins as you draw on your creativity and resolve that you will NOT back down due to fear of the unknown. I am the body in motion that stays in motion.

This universal law of physics applies to both my body and mind. Once I start an activity, it’s easy to maintain momentum. Knowing this, I can soar past obstacles in my path and remain focused on my tasks and goals.

I create my action plans so they begin with undemanding tasks. This allows me to start any project with ease. Then I can quickly complete that task and move effortlessly onto the next, gaining momentum as I move forward.

The energy of my forward momentum helps push challenges aside. My active and focused mind is able to figure out a way to work with or overcome difficulties. Sometimes I may have to alter my plans, but I always maintain momentum.

It is similar to a game of pool. Once the cue hits the ball with enough energy to give it a strong push, it continues its momentum regardless of anything in its path. When it hits another ball or the wall, it simply changes its path and keeps going.

Like the ball, each and every day I have a chance to take my turn and do with it what I will! I choose to maintain my forward momentum with my eyes on my prize, even if I must change my plan from time to time.

Just as the ball comes to a stop at the end of its turn, I wind down at the end of the day and rest. The next morning I feel rejuvenated and I have the energy to take another exciting turn in this wonderful game of life!

Today, I strive to be the body in motion that stays in motion. With my forward momentum, I can handle anything that steers me away from my tasks. I may change my route to overcome challenges that arise, but I am still on course to attain my goals.
